Mommy: shirt // sandals // skirt
Daughter:  shirt // sandals // skirt

Working, working, working over here.  Busy, busy, busy.  Good busy, but very busy.  Still making progress on the portrait site that is still gonna be up soon.  I know I keep saying soon, but it is, very soon. Still have a couple of fun things around the corner for this blog, one being another giveaway.  So stay tuned for all that...

But in the mean time, spring is teasing us here in Arkansas.  We keep getting a couple of days of gorgeous weather followed by another winter storm.  But I know the warm weather is coming.  It always does, so I've been dreaming of putting away the sweaters and coats and trying to remember what in the world I wore when it wasn't winter, all those months ago.

I have a spring/summer uniform: tshirt, skirt, sandals.  The end.  So easy.  So comfortable.  I get in these fashion ruts.  I hesitate to use the word "rut" because it has a negative connotation, but I can't think of a better word.  Anyway, I know what I like, and I wear it...a lot.  So there.  I like for my kids to have a uniform of sorts as well.  With 4 kids, things need to be quick and easy.  So today, a few uniform pieces for Enid, Tristin, and me.  Do you have a go-to spring/summer get-up?  Or would wearing almost the same thing everyday make you crazy?   Let's hear it.

  1. Midi skirts are on my list too for this summer. I also like baggy soft shorts and loose racer back tanks. Easy! I'm totally okay with this uniform all summer. Last summer it was maxi dresses.

    1. I just cannot wear shorts. Too many things going wrong with me in shorts. I like a good maxi in the mix myself.
